                 1. Mr. Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO

The 8th Director-General of UNESCO Headquarters in Paris is a Japanese named Mr.Koichiro Matsuura.
He was formerly the ambassador to France. Last autumn he attended the National Convention of UNESCO Movements in Matsuyama.He gave a lecture on "The Role of UNESCO in the 21st Century." He friendly joined us in our picture taking at the party
We expcet his great achievement. Recently he published a book on his job.
    
     ユネスコパリ本部の第８代事務局長は日本人でお名前は松浦晃一郎さんです。以前駐仏大使をしておられた方です｡昨秋の松山市でのユネスコ全国大会にお見えになり　｢二十一世紀のユネスコの役割｣と言う題で講演をされました。パーテイでは気さくに私達の記念写真に入って下さいました。ますますのご活躍を祈念します。最近｢ユネスコ事務局長奮闘記」と言う本を講談社から刊行されました。
